Four people in Massachusetts won $50,000 during the Powerball drawing on Wednesday night.

The winning numbers for the drawing were 3, 16, 29, 61, 69 and Powerball: 22.

Since there were no tickets sold that matched all drawn numbers, the jackpot prize rolled to $1.7 billion as of Thursday morning — the third-largest lottery prize in history.

However, four tickets sold in Massachusetts matched four of the first numbers and the Powerball number to win $50,000.

Two were sold in Peabody — one at 17 Central St. Liquor, and the other at Dev Convenience Store.

Another winning ticket was sold at The Point in East Freetown, while the fourth was sold at Gary’s Liquors in West Roxbury.

The next Powerball drawing will be held Saturday.
