Amazon is set to restrict a free delivery perk for Prime members in October.
The company updated its website , saying that the Prime Invitee program, which allows members to share their account with non-household adults, will end on Oct. 1.
The program will be replaced by Amazon Family, where Prime members can share their benefits with one other adult, up to four teens who were added before April 7 and up to four children in their household.
Additional adult members will need their own Prime membership.
“To share benefits, you and your invitee must live together at the same primary residential address,” Amazon’s website reads. “This is the address you consider to be your home and where you spend the majority of your time.”
