A famous venue in West Lothian that once drew some of the top-name DJs from the world of dance music is enjoying a renaissance. ‌

The purpose-built Room at the Top (RATT) in Bathgate launched as a “superclub” during the 90s featuring five different rooms, and for a spell was a mecca for clubbers from across central Scotland and further afield. ‌

Big names from the electronic dance music scene regularly appeared to entertain crowds at the venue, such as Ferry COrsten, John Digweed, Jeremy Healy, Alex P, and even former boxer Nigel Benn ‌

Events such as those by promoters such as Colours attracted huge crowds with the state-of-the-art venue able to hold for over 2,000 people. READ MORE: Scotland's Drugs Minister visits Livingston project as details of annual deaths is revealed
