DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — The YMCA of the Triangle announced plans to build a new YMCA in downtown Durham on Thursday.

The facility will be located at the corner of Blackwell and W. Pettigrew streets adjacent to the American Tobacco Campus—and just steps away from Durham Performing Arts Center.

In a press release sent out Thursday, the YMCA of the Triangle said the facility will be 65,000 square feet. CBC Real Estate, a division of Capitol Broadcasting Company, will develop the site.
