Coronation Street fans believe that Carla Connor and Lisa Swain will break off their engagement after a huge affair twist.

Carla (Alison King) and Lisa (Vicky Myers) began dating at the end of last year and have since been branded a "power couple" by viewers.

The pair, who are affectionately called Swarla by fans, recently moved into number six with Lisa's daughter, Betsy (Sydney Martin), and Carla's nephew, Ryan (Ryan Prescott).

On Wednesday (September 3), Corrie viewers were delighted when Carla and Lisa got engaged outside Underworld.

After Carla's proposal plans were derailed by David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) earlier in the week, Lisa unexpectedly called her partner out of work and into the street with her colleagues, reports the Daily Star .
