WATERTOWN — Authorities on Tuesday identified three people who were found dead in a home here on Sunday and said their deaths were the apparent result of a murder-suicide.

Middlesex prosecutors said David Minasvand, 31, shot and killed Nadia Abrahamian, 80, and Karine Asatryan, 35, before turning the gun on himself in their home on Boyd Street.

The bodies were discovered Sunday about 10 a.m. when police conducted a welfare check, authorities said.

Minasvand and Asatryan lived together on the first floor of the multifamily home. Abrahamian lived upstairs.

Authorities did not release further information Tuesday, saying the investigation is ongoing.
