LSU baseball head coach Jay Johnson and two assistant coaches are set to receive raises and contract extensions after the Tigers won the 2025 national championship, their second in three years.

Johnson's is set to make $23.45 million over the next seven years with an annual salary that now tops $3 million. He got a two-year extension, so his contract will run through the 2032 season.

The new deals need to be approved Friday by the LSU board of supervisors. Johnson signed off on the agreement in mid-August.

Johnson last received a new contract after he won his first national title in 2023, which made him one of the highest-paid college baseball coaches in the country. He made $1.67 million last year before bonuses, and his compensation was set to increase annually until he earned $
