A Baton Rouge man was arrested Saturday morning after allegedly pouring gasoline throughout an occupied home in Baker and threatening to burn down the residence.
Baton Rouge firefighters were originally called to join Baker police at a residence in the 400 block of Cypress Street around 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
A man at the scene, later identified as Wilfred Jackson Jr., 32, had allegedly poured gasoline throughout the residence while occupants were inside and then threatened to set the structure on fire.
The only reported injury was from Jackson, who experienced difficulty breathing due to inhaling gasoline fumes. He was treated on scene by parish EMS, according to a statement from the Baton Rouge Fire Department.
Jackson was booked into the parish prison on Saturday on a count of attempte
