(KRON) -- Multiple lanes of southbound Highway 101 in San Jose are blocked Thursday morning after a big rig overturned in the roadway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash on 101 occurred around 6:30 a.m. near Interstate 880, CHP said. The four right lanes of southbound 101 remain blocked, with one far left lane open. The connector ramp from southbound 880 to southbound 101 has also been shut down as authorities respond. • (CHP) • (Caltrans)
According to the CHP incident log, approximately 20 to 30 gallons of diesel spilled in the crash.
It is unknown if there are any injuries related to the incident.
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes and expect delays in the area.
