Kaly Sene has promised to put team results above all else, as he aims to continue his fantastic start to the season at Middlesbrough .

The Senegal striker joined Boro last week from Lausanne-Sport, for whom he’d started the season in fine form with six goals in eight games. It didn’t take long for him to be straight in the Boro side either, debuting for the club from the bench just 24 hours after his move was completed.

Sene showed some bright glimpses in the final 20 minutes of the 1-0 victory over Sheffield United, and will be hoping to build on that after the international break. While he’d love to continue the goalscoring form he’d been showing in Switzerland before his move, his ultimate aims are far selfless, with team results his only focus.
