Does flipping the calendar to September mean it’s fall now?
Whether you believe it’s the start of the -ber months that ushers in the cozy weather or the autumnal equinox on Sept. 22, you’re in for a taste of the pumpkin spice season this weekend into next week.
“It’s going to feel a little like fall,” said National Weather Service meteorologist Dana Felton.
It’s been summer-hot in Seattle this week with temperatures in the low 80s, which is several degrees above normal for this time of year.
That heat will continue to simmer Thursday and Friday as an upper level ridge hangs over Seattle, keeping temperatures in the low 80s, Felton said. The ridge will shift to the east on Friday night, and little weather systems will spin across Seattle over the weekend.
Cooler, cloudier weather will
