Plymouth Argyle will carry out an internal review next week of the club's player recruitment over the summer transfer window, Tom Cleverley has confirmed.
A number of signings had already been made before Miron Muslic left the role as head coach at the end of May and was replaced a short time later by Cleverley. Meanwhile, David Fox was also appointed as head of football operations while Tom Randle became the full-time head of recruitment after the earlier departure of Jimmy Dickinson.
Cleverley admitted it had been 'really difficult to be completely as aligned as we needed to be' but he was sure lessons would be learned ahead of the winter transfer window in January, for which the planning work starts now.
