GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A road has reopened in Gwinnett County on Thursday morning after a house fire, officials said.

According to Gwinnett County Fire, the blaze started around 6:54 a.m. at a home on North Bogan Road NE in Buford. When firefighters arrived, minutes later, they saw heavy smoke and flames coming from the two-story house.

No one was injured, and the home was vacant at the time of the fire. Hall County Fire was also dispatched to the same incident.

The road was closed for hours during the blaze but has since reopened, according to police.

The 11Alive SkyTracker flew over the scene, where the fire appeared to be out, but significant damage was left behind on the home. The main fire damage appeared to be toward the back of the house.
