TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — At 2nd South Market, members of the city government and the community gathered for the Twin Falls State of the City Address.
Leaders like Mayor Ruth Pierce took to the stand to speak about various issues, especially in the face of a growing population.
“The estimated population of Twin Falls is almost 57,000 people, and we are the eighth largest city in Idaho. The 2020 census had us at a population of 51,800. So that is almost a 10 percent growth over the past five years,” Mayor Pierce said.
Mayor Pierce noted that they are also trying to keep up with the high influx of people coming into Twin Falls .
