TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — A crash near Malta claimed a Burley man’s life Wednesday night.

The crash happened at almost 10 p.m. on northbound State Highway 81, milepost 8, just north of Malta, according to a release by the Idaho State Police (ISP).

A 30-year-old man from Burley was headed northbound on SH81 when he veered onto the left shoulder, overcorrected and rolled.

The driver was not wearing his seatbelt and died of his injuries at the scene.

ISP is still investigating the crash.
