An Edinburgh chef is set to open a new restaurant and bar in the city.
Vinette will be launching on Broughton Street, with chef Stuart Ralston describing it as a Parisian bar serving up sharing plates and ' bistro style' dishes. Beneath it, Vivien will be opening its doors as a cocktail bar.
Based at the former of site of Fhior, the new spot will 'celebrate artisanal producers'. The kitchen will be headed up by Stuart's younger brother , Calum Ralston, who has trained with the group over the past 18 months.
Front of house will be led by Elle Mackay, the general manager of Aizle, which is set to close later this month. Group head sommelier Stuart Skea will be overseeing the wine offering, with an emphasis on wines from the Old World.
