Emergency services raced to Edinburgh's city centre on Saturday afternoon after a suspicious package was delivered to a local business.
Officers were alerted to the presence of the package at a commercial property on Princes Street at around 1pm on Saturday, September 6.
The building has since been evacuated.
Scottish Fire and Rescue Service are also in attendance and the package is being examined.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 1pm on Saturday, 6 September, 2025, we received a report that suspicious package had been delivered to a commercial premises on Princes Street, Edinburgh.
"The building has been evacuated as a precaution.
"Scottish Fire and Rescue Service are also in attendance and the package is being examined."
