CHARLOTTE, N.C – The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) will be conducting a large-scale training exercise at the Bojangles Entertainment Complex located at 2700 E. Independence Blvd. on Monday, Sept. 8, 2025, 7:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

There will be a heavy law enforcement presence in the area. Multiple federal, state and local law enforcement, fire and medical agencies will participate in several training scenarios which will involve multiple marked and unmarked vehicles, a heavy uniformed/non-uniformed presence and loud noises. The training exercise will be contained within the Bojangles Entertainment Complex.
