Iredell County man facing ten felony charges of sexual exploitation of a minor

HARMONY, N.C. — Authorities say a CyberTip led to the arrest of a man from Harmony for numerous felony sexual exploitation of a minor charges.

On February 21, 2025, the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office says they received a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). The tip allegedly contained 27 files of suspected child sexual abuse material (CSAM). The case was immediately assigned to Detective Lane of the Special Victims Unit.

Detective Lane secured a search warrant for the suspect’s Dropbox account, the platform identified in the CyberTip, according to authorities.
