GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Guilderland Public Library is going to host its first-ever fan convention on September 13. Greufus Con will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for fantasy, science fiction, and pop culture fans to gather and participate in all that the event has to offer.

Event lineup • Mario Kart 8 tournament • Pokemon puzzle along • Escape the Dark Castle role-playing game • Nerdy button making • A Greufus the Library Cow photobooth • Vendor booths with unique merchandise from local vendors • Bake sale • Cosplay contest for all ages

The cosplay contest will run from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Children's Programming Room. There will be three separate prizes awarded: Best Youth Costume for children up to 16 years old, Best Adult Costume for anyone over 17 years old, and
