Popular A Place in the Sun presenter Jasmine Harman has shared her devastation following the death of a dear friend's husband from cancer, explaining how the loss has reminded her to treasure each precious moment.

The Channel 4 host, 49, filmed a thoughtful message whilst at the seaside, encouraging viewers to value time spent with family and friends rather than dwelling on life's minor worries.

Jasmine wrote alongside the footage: "Tragically, another beautiful soul has departed this earth. A reminder to live for each and every day."
