HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Bishop Museum announced a new installation on Wednesday.

The museum said the new installation called “A Woman of the World: Bernice Pauahi Bishop in Europe” shares the personal accounts and keepsakes from her travels abroad.

Between May 1875, and September 1876, Bernice Pauahi Bishop and her husband Charles Reed Bishop spent 481 days traveling through America and Europe.

Throughout their travels, the Bishops visited Scotland, Italy, Germany, England, and Vienna.

The museum said that Bernice also picked up a few items on display in her home as souvenirs from her Grand Tour.

Organizers said glass mosaic earrings and exquisite paperweights are now on display until December.
