TOWN OF CLIFTON, Wis. — A 42-year-old man from Comer, Ga., was injured Sunday morning when he crashed his 2023 Chevrolet Silverado into a parked, unattached semi-trailer while trying to separate his two dogs, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office said.

Sheriff's deputies were called about 7:24 a.m. Sunday to the 400 block of Hopewell Road in the Town of Clifton for a report of a single-vehicle crash with the driver trapped, the sheriff’s office said.

Investigators said the man was driving on a private road leading to a wind turbine site to perform repair work when the dogs began fighting inside the truck. As he intervened, the pickup struck the front of the unattended semi-trailer, and the driver’s side became wedged underneath its front end.
