UPDATE: ROCHESTER, Minn. — Rochester Police Department officers responded to Holy Spirit Catholic School around 9 am on September 4 after concerning phone calls were made to the school and the Rochester Catholic Schools Central Office.

The school, located at 5455 50th Avenue Northwest, was evacuated. Police say they quickly determined there were no credible threats.

RPD says schools across the country have been targets of swatting incidents, and initial investigations suggest these calls did not come from Minnesota.

Emergency Management, Fire, and Mayo Clinic Ambulance Service were also on scene out of caution.

The RPD says it wants to emphasize its commitment to community, school, and worship safety. Previous stories below
