LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Two men are facing charges in connection with a series of thefts of communications wire in Southwest Louisville Metro.

Jacob Lee Roeder, 48, and David A. McGill, 42, both of Louisville, were arrested September 2. They are charged with receiving stolen property, criminal mischief – tampering with key infrastructure assets and trespass of key infrastructure assets. McGill is also charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. In addition, Roeder was wanted on three warrants for probation violation.

Arrest citations show the men were arrested by detectives with the Louisville Metro Alcoholic and Beverage Control in an ongoing investigation. Mayor Craig Greenberg’s office says the ABC detectives, along with LMPD 3rd Division detectives, were part of the t
