TRUSSVILLE, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Authorities say a 29-year-old man has died following an industrial incident in Trussville Wednesday morning.

Lt. Clint Riner with the Trussville Police Department says officers and firefighters were dispatched to the 7500 block of Commerce Circle at about 8:34 a.m.

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has identified the man as Edgar Earl Davis, IV. He lived in Odenville.

He was an employee of a precast concrete manufacturer when he sustained blunt force injuries during an industrial accident.

Trussville Police confirm Davis died while working on an industrial machine.

The Trussville Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division is handling the case.
