HOMEWOOD, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Samford men’s basketball will be going international during the Thanksgiving break this year.

Samford Athletics says new basketball coach Lenny Acuff and the program have been invited to compete in the 2025 Cancun Challenge this November.

The event, set for Nov. 25-26, will be a 6-team event that will be played at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya in Mexico. Other teams in the tournament include Georgia State, New Mexico State, South Dakota State, UC Irvine, and Utah Valley.

All of the teams will play a set schedule of games in the event. You can find the Bulldogs schedule below:
