HOUSTON – In grade school, you may have learned about a little about electricity, such as you can’t see, smell or taste electricity.
So, when it comes to downed power lines, for your safety, always ASSUME they may be energized.
According to CenterPoint Energy, stay at least 10 feet away from the wire and secure the area to keep children and others away.
