HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- While no one hit the jackpot on the Powerball on Wednesday night, one Houstonian did wake up $2 million richer, according to the Texas Lottery website.
The ticket was sold at the Barri 140088 at 601 North Cesar Chavez Blvd. The Houston player matched all five balls in Wednesday's drawing. This was just one of four winners. According to the Powerball website, the other $2 million winners of the Match 5 + Power Play were Michigan, Oregon, and Wyoming.
The Powerball Jackpot now goes up to $1.7 billion, with the next opportunity to win big is on Saturday, Sept. 6.
