COLUMBIA, S.C. (WBTV) - A popular low-cost airline reportedly has plans to eliminate flights to and from 12 U.S. cities next month, with one of them being in South Carolina.

reported that Spirit Airlines plans to halt service in 11 cities on Oct. 2. One of those is Columbia. The 12th city where service will be stopped is Macon, Ga., although flights will continue there until Oct. 16.

Including Columbia and Macon, the full list of 12 cities where Spirit will halt services is below:

Albuquerque, N.M.

Birmingham, Ala.

Boise, Idaho

Chattanooga, Tenn.

Columbia, S.C.

Macon, Ga.

Oakland, Calif.

Portland, Ore.

Sacramento, Calif.

Salt Lake City, Utah

San Diego, Calif.

San Jose, Calif.
