The St. Clair County Health Department has begun implementing sweeping changes that took effect Sept. 1 under an Aug. 1 memorandum from Medical Director Dr. Remington Nevin.

The directive consolidates all clinical services to Port Huron, closing school-based clinics in Yale and Algonac, ending registered nurse support at Capac schools, discontinuing limited services in Marysville, and halting clinical outreach at community events.
