GIBSON CO., Ind. (WFIE) - An Oakland City woman is facing several charges after deputies say she hit someone with her Cadillac, then sped away.

They say it happened Wednesday evening in the 6600 block of South State Road 57.

The victim gave deputies 55-year-old Stephanie Scott’s name, and she was found in a church parking lot.

Deputies say Scott’s charges include battery with a deadly weapon, marijuana possession, criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon and driving while intoxicated.
