WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ore. (KPTV) - A man accused of kidnapping and sexually assaulting a young woman in July is facing charges in a second case, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

Dru Hendrix, 58, was indicted on Aug. 28 by a Columbia County grand jury for second-degree kidnapping, third-degree sexual abuse, third-degree attempted escape, and driving on a criminally suspended license.

Since Hendrix’s arrest on July 21 for kidnapping and sexually assaulting a 20-year-old woman , detectives have interviewed many people reporting criminal or concerning behavior by Hendrix.

The new indictment stems from an open case in Columbia County from a 2024 arrest.

The sheriff’s office says Hendrix has multiple stalking and restraining orders against him.
