From monster trucks and massive pumpkins with a side of music to a slew rides and all the fried food your arteries can handle, the Nashville Fair is back.
Thousands are expected to flock to the fairgrounds as the fourth annual fair kicks off at 5 p.m. Sept. 5.
Once again, the fair will feature handouts of free Purity brand chocolate or regular milk inside the grain silo at the AGitivity Farm and a bunch of entertainment and fair staples.
This year will see the first-ever "fairest of the fair' pageant added to a lineup that includes 60 musical acts, rides, livestock competitions and midway events.
Monster trucks will also roar into the fairground speedway for the first time at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 5 and 6. The 10,000-pound trucks will race, perform tricks and crush everything in their paths.
