This year's Homeschool Outdoor Fair will be held on Tuesday, October 7th at the Springfield Botanical Gardens at Nathanael Greene/Close Memorial Park.

This year's theme will be "Nature's Detectives," giving kids the chance to experience programs and demonstrations from community organizations specializing in the natural world and sciences, such as: • History Museum on the Square • Dickerson Park Zoo • James River Basin Partnership • Springfield Conservation Nature Center • Wilson's Creek National Battlefield • Springfield Botanical Center • Wonders of Wildlife
