Well, I hope you caught the rain on Friday, as it might be a while before we see any more. While we didn’t pick up much, at least it was something. Most locations received less than a quarter of an inch.
But for Springfield, that was more rain than we’ve seen in the past month and a half.
A dry airmass has moved in, effectively shutting down our chances for wet weather for the rest of the week. I'm forecasting our rain chances at a big fat zero for this week. Our next opportunity for rainfall may not arrive until the middle of the month.
Temperatures will follow a gradual warming trend, with nearly every day this week just a couple of degrees warmer than the last.
We'll stay in a mild pattern to start the week, but highs in the 90s are expected to return by the end.
