The driver of a black Lexus SUV who led law enforcement officers on a pursuit in Beaver County on Tuesday has been identified as 25-year-old Adarian Deantae Murrell.
Beaver County Jail’s booking information lists Murrell as being from Texas. He is being held without bail on suspicion of more than a dozen charges, including felony counts of aggravated assault, transferring a stolen vehicle and failure to respond to an officer’s signal to stop.
According to the probable cause statement filed in support of Murrell’s arrest, a Utah Highway Patrol trooper initially attempted to pull over the SUV he was driving on Beaver’s Main Street for speeding at 49 mph in a 30 mph zone.
