Potential drastic changes to the Wilmington Land Bank were met with slight opposition from residents, contractors and even a City Council member at a town hall meeting Sept. 3.

The discussion at Wilmington's Police Athletic League was promoted by Shané Darby, the council member who wanted the community to hear about what the Land Bank does, share their experiences, and get feedback on improving its transparency and accountability, which Darby said is severely lacking.
