JACKSON, Mich. (WILX) - Jackson Lumen Christi rolled to a 13-1 record in 2024 that the Titans capped off with their 14th state title victory. The only blemish on the schedule for Lumen last season came in a close 28-24 loss to Pontiac Notre Dame Prep on Sept. 6.

Now the Titans get a chance for revenge and also an opportunity to bounce back after a four-point loss in Week 1 to Lombard Montini.

Lumen will host the Fighting Irish for its home opener on Friday night, and Notre Dame Prep has a lot of returning talent from last season.

“Oh, it’s a big deal. I mean, I think we have a certain reputation statewide, and you know, with that reputation comes some responsibility,” said Herb Brogan.
