ROGERS -- A temporary road closure is set to begin next week along Rainbow Road and last through late October, according to a news release from the city.
Rainbow Road will be closed to through traffic between Wallis Road and Spring Water Way beginning Monday, the release states.
The closure is necessary to allow for the reconstruction of the east half of Rainbow Road, which includes the installation of new curb and gutter as well as storm drainage improvements, according to the city.
Detour routes will be in place using Mt. Hebron Road, Wallis Road and Shores Avenue, the release states. Local traffic will still have access up to the active work zone, according to the release.
