FAYETTEVILLE -- University of Arkansas Coach Sam Pittman didn't mince words regarding the front seven of the Razorbacks' defense following a 52-7 win over Alabama A&M last week.
During his opening remarks at his Monday news conference, Pittman put it simply: "Defensively, we have to have more production out of our linebackers," Pittman said. "We need to play better there. We need to play better on the D-line. We didn't have the production that we need there."
The Razorbacks generated 2 sacks, 6 tackles for loss, 5 pass breakups and 1 turnover from its defense against the Bulldogs.
