Zions Bank and Natural History Museum of Utah will host a Community Science Night on Friday, Sept. 12, at the bank’s Park City Newpark branch, located at 1483 Newpark Boulevard.
The event, which is free and open to the public, runs from 6-8 p.m. and will offer hands-on activities, interactive science stations and expert insights from the Natural History Museum of Utah and local partners, including the Swaner Preserve & EcoCenter.
The Community Science Night celebrates the arrival of the museum’s traveling exhibit, which will be on display at the branch Sept. 2-26 during regular bank hours. From the stares of moths to the spikes of the Stegosaurus, the “Defense Experts” exhibit aims to showcase how organisms, from plants to dinosaurs, have developed unique ways of defending themselves.
