Bo Nix had an exciting finish to his rookie season.

The Broncos quarterback recovered from a rough first month to lead Denver to the postseason for the first time in nine years.

With head coach Sean Payton leading the way, Nix finished with 33 total touchdowns and 12 interceptions for the 10-7 Broncos.

Given his quick processing and decision-making, he quickly drew comparisons to a former star who once thrived in the same system: Drew Brees.

Brees played for Payton with the New Orleans Saints from 2006 to 2020, winning a Super Bowl and becoming the NFL's all-time leading passer when he retired.

In an interview with NBC while promoting Abbott's Big Ten We Give Blood Drive , Brees pointed out the similarities and differences between his game and the 25-year-old Nix's.
