Famed The Police guitarist Andy Summers is launching a new docuseries that explores his signature instrument around the world. “ Global Guitar ” is an eight-part unscripted series where Summers will travel to various countries and learn how different cultures embrace the guitar.

Envisioned as a multi-season franchise, “Global Guitar” will follow Summers on this worldly odyssey as he becomes more acquainted with the instrument and its global impact. In addition to showcasing music from around the world, the production will capture Summers’ interactions with local musicians, learning more about the cultures through their common love for the instrument.
