COLUMBUS, Ohio — The "World Famed" Grambling State University Tiger Marching Band put on quite the show during their halftime performance on Saturday afternoon at the 'Shoe.

Not many opposing team's marching bands get the opportunity to perform their own halftime set at Ohio Stadium, but this band has a storied history, even dubbing themselves the "best band in the land."

The Tiger Marching Band was founded in 1926 by Ralph Waldo Emerson Jones, who served as the second president of the university.

Over their nearly 100 year history, the band has performed at multiple Super Bowls, been featured in films and commercials, performed at several presidential inaugural parades and had a documentary made about them.

The band began with 17 members when it first formed and has since grown to 250
