CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- Carowinds is launching its popular fall season with three events, starting September 12 through November. Guests can enjoy Tricks and Treats, Oktoberfest, and the spooky SCarowinds, all included with park admission.

Daytime fun

Families can enjoy Tricks and Treats on weekends, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., with games, crafts, and meet-and-greets with Snoopy and the Peanuts gang. Meanwhile, Oktoberfest returns with German food, beer, live music, and stein-holding contests from Sept. 13 to Nov. 23.

Frights at night

When the sun sets, the park transforms into SCarowinds, celebrating 25 years of fear with haunted mazes, scare zones, and more than 300 monsters. New this year is The Conjuring: Beyond Fear, a 20-minute haunted escape experience based on the hit horror
