MONROE, La. (KNOE) - The Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office has made two additional arrests in connection with a Labor Day shooting in Swartz.
Officials say reports of gunfire at at Double K Estates and Magnolia Drive on Monday, Sept. 1 led to a shooting on Hwy. 139 at Bayou Oaks.
OPSO says the individual struck in the shooting remains in critical condition.
On Thursday, Sept. 4, OPSO arrested 18-year-old Landon Hughes and 18-year-old Corey Moses Jr. on charges of five counts of attempted second degree murder and one count of assault by drive-by shooting each.
Deputies say they are actively searching for an additional 17-year-old.
