ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - The US Attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri said Thursday the second of two men caught with multiple drugs, including pounds of fentanyl, in Sept. of 2023 pleaded guilty to drug charges.
The office said 47-year-old Dennis Davis pleaded guilty Thursday to one count of conspiracy to distribute controlled substances, including fentanyl.
Shem Guy, 34, pleaded guilty to the same charge in June. Prosecutors said both men had been selling drugs since 2019.
Davis now faces 10 years in prison to life, while Guy faces up to 20 years in prison.
Agents from the Drug Enforcement Administration initially caught Davis and Guy discussing buying and selling drugs with others in 2023, leading to a search of a property of Davis’ on Sept. 6, 2023.
