CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- Some Charlotte students are getting an early look at what it's like having a part-time job.
A student-run cafe is now open at the Metro School in Uptown.
Leaders say students will take on different roles than those found in a regular cafe. It's an opportunity for students to gain real-world job training experiences.
Community partners for the student-run cafe include IKEA, the Metro PTO and the Girl Scouts.
