FARGO — A familiar Fargo landmark is glowing in a new light.

For more than two decades, drivers at the busy interchange of Interstates 29 and 94 have been greeted by the glowing Budweiser sign perched high above Fargo. Now, that familiar landmark is getting a modern glow-up.

Originally installed in 2001 by D-S Beverages, the local Anheuser-Busch distributor, the 14-by-48-foot sign has long been a beacon in the Red River Valley with its neon glow. With recent upgrades from Indigo Signs, a sign manufacturer and service provider for the Upper Midwest, the classic neon lights have been swapped for efficient LED lighting.
